This is a major release with fundamentally rebuild of the app. From the usage of view, the main change is to add search feature so that it will be very easy to find out information when you have a lots of taps. To support this new feature, the framework of the app have been changed.
To get this search feature, just scroll to the top of the view, and drag the view down. A search bar will appear under the title.
Tap on the search bar, a list of search scopes is displayed. Normally, there are four scopes: name, note, tap note, and tap date. The first three are text based search,
and the last one is date search.
Note: the search function is available only there are a lots of data in a view. If there are less than three rows of data in the view, obviously, the search bar would not available.
For date search, when you first time select the date scope, the app will find out all the dates available in taps and set the first date in the date picker. This will make it easy for user to start search. The next time when you do the date search again, it will remember the previous dates selected.
During the time we added this new feature, we realized that some framework blocks for laying-out this app had to be changed/updated. Basically, almost the whole app has been rewritten. We think this change is worthwhile because a better framework has been created and some potential bugs has been resolved.
With this new feature, it will be much easy to find out information in your taps. Let's quote the final paragraph of the app description:
